Reaction to Announced Metroid Games

I thought I should partake in creating an image summing up my reaction to not one but TWO Metroid games being announced. I can now see why Nintendo shut down AM2R as they were doing there very own Metroid II remake. It's going to be interesting to see the comparison between a fanmade and official remake.
It's also amazing to realize that the last 2D sidescroller Metroid game was 13 years ago and the last Prime game was 10 years ago. Time has flown.
I just realized it probably feels like 2001 for longtime Metroid fans as the situation looks really similar.
-A long drought of no mainline Metroid games is broken up by 2 announced games
-One is on a console (Prime/Prime 4)
-The other is on a handheld (Fusion/Samus Returns)
-The same total amount of 7 years between the last main game and the announced paired games. (Super to Prime/Fusion and Other M to Prime 4/Returns)
So excited to know that Samus Returns is coming out in September which is only 3 months away.
I guess Samus Returns is not only the name of a title but now the current status of the Metroid series.
